Bob Chilcott: Singing By Numbers: Chœur Mixte et Accomp.

Singing By Numbers is a celebration of singing in all it's various forms. It includes an assortment of texts on the subject, from sources as diverse as Spike Milligan, Thomas Ravenscroft and the Song Of Solomon. The emotional heart of the piece is a moving setting of Sassoon's Everyone Sang. The seven short movements include items for upper (or children's) voices and men's voices as well as the full choir, and all of them may be performed seperately.
