Charpentier originally wrote this joyous masterwork for 3-Part Mixedvoices with an accompaniment of continuo and two flutes or violins. Patrick Liebergen has provided a keyboard part that reinforces the vocal parts, and revised the flute parts to be optional for flutes or violins (parts includedin the choral). “Lift Up Your Voice” is a concert opener and is well suited for contest or festival use.
