Paul Curnow: A Scottish Triptych: Orchestre d'Harmonie

Scottish folk songs have a distinctive style and spirit that offers a keen insight into that country's people and history. Scottish Triptych is a suite based on three of these folk songs, written about the time of William Wallace(depicted in the film Braveheart). Includes: I. The Heritage (Scots, Wha Hae wi' Wallace Bled) II. The Country (Flow Gently Sweet Afton) III. The People (The De'il Cam' Fiddlin' thro' the Toun)
