        Évaluations Musicroom

The music is well laid out and the arrangement is fantastic. The music itself I knew would be amazing as its Einaudi, my only criticism is that as its in a book form and I don't have page grabbers (as I have a digital piano), its hard to stop the pages from turning, therefore a wire bound version of sheet music would be much better so that the book can sit right without pages turning or you having to strongly manipulate the spine to get it to keep still and sit properly.

In the interests of disclosure, I am neither a reader of music nor a musician (sadly). I am, however, married to a wonderfully talented pianist and this was present for her. She is a big fan of Einaudi and pounced on this new book. I've since enjoyed having several of the pieces played to me and feel this is up to his usual standards. As always, the music is explorations of timing, repetition, variation and form. This particular book is viewed through an emotive lens and is wonderfully evocative of the individual subject matter. My wife assures me the notation in the book is clear and the physical product is solid and very well presented. She gives it 5 stars (as do I based on hearing the music and the physical product). Music Room were prompt on delivery as always, especially as this was a pre-order. Hopefully this is useful to someone!

Another Einaudi classic and worth playing and listening to.

Another lovely selection of very playable pieces. My only criticism is that the binding makes it very difficult to keep pages open. Please could more piano music be spiral bound.

Much better than the album where, for us at least, Ludovico has departed from his original solo piano style to the detriment of the music. My wife doesn't like the album but does like listening to me playing the solo piano arrangements from this music book.

Although this music is wonderful and this is a great book, I bought it for my daughter based on the level of the first pages of each piece that were available to view. Unfortunately most of the rest of the pages are too hard for her and at the moment she can't play it. Had I been able to see more pages online, I might not have bought it at this time.

A lovely book with a selection of pieces that have tremendous meaning to me. I can open it and get lost at the piano, so no regrets at all on my decision to buy. However, I would warn that the book is constructed poorly and that both page turning and copying are impossible. You can play from memory, but you can't copy and you can't page turn.

Wonderful pieces by Einaudi and for me his best yet, a lovely book to own and have in your collection. Very quick delivery by Musicroom and item arrived in excellent condition.

In reviewing the 'In A Time Lapse' piano album I am able to say that this is great music for any pianist of (regarding the more challenging pieces) about grade 5 to thoroughly enjoy playing. In comparison with previous piano editions of Einaudi's albums, several of the works present more technical difficulty, although any competent pianist should be able to play them all comfortably within a short period of time. Playing from score does in some cases give a different feel to the piece than when heard as orchestrated on the recorded album, because the strings, electronics and percussion do add a vibrant dimension which is of course not possible to replicate on an acoustic piano. These transcriptions for solo piano are, however, beautiful to play and I thoroughly recommend this book to all pianists who love the music of Ludovico Einaudi.

Just a fun book of pieces which I use for sight reading. Difficult to take seriously. Fills in gaps when resting from practice time. Fortunately not too expensive.

Typical Einaudio! Although I must say not an awful lot in it technically for the more advanced pianist. One or two pieces are a little monotonous I'm afraid to say. Sorry Einaudi but as a collection of piano pieces this is not your best.

As an Einaudi fan I was not surprised at the beauty of this collection. Absolutely love it!
