Very pleasant and easy Christmas song appropriate for young children or any really. Playable accompaniment for average pianist. Anonyme

Lovely gentle carol. A bit schmalzy but looking forward to singing it with experienced 7-11 year olds. Confident they'll learn it easily and love it. And there won't be a dry parental eye in the house! Anonyme

This short piece is intended as a Christmas Concert stocking-filler and it just about does the job. The melody line is simple and would be easy for children to pick up. The range is also appropriate, never going lower than Middle C or higher than the D flat above. My main fault with it would be the way the words scan. The composers seem to be trying to fit too many in and this results in phrases in which all the words are crammed in right at the end. I could see this posing problems with my choirs. I would recommend it for lower Key Stage 2 children (Years 3+4) and, if you're looking for a simple, pleasant item to make mums and dads go "Aaaaahhh" then this could very well be it.

A very singable Christmas piece from a very popular composer. Our school choir loves it! Anonyme
