I bought this mainly for the Moonlight Sonata but was pleased with the other songs in the book. Some of the names of the songs were unfamiliar to me but upon playing them, I found I recognised them. Good addition to my collection.

I have only had this book for 2 days. The pieces are truly relaxing. The reason I give this 4 stars is that most of the pieces have been arranged. For example nearly half of Claire De Lune (the hard bits) is taken out which was quite disappointing. This book suits the grade 4-5 category.

Bon recueil de divers partitions pour le piano. Le niveau est cependant inégal et surtout, on peut regretter que certaines partitions soient légèrement différentes de l'original (ex. Sarabande).

A lovely book to 'Chillout' to alone, and some well known pieces to play to an audience. A good buy.

This carefully compiled collection stands out for its mixture of instantly-recognisable classical works and popular pieces from the world of Film and TV. The term Chillout is often lent to music of a mundane and insipid nature, but certainly, in this instance, this is by no means the case. The highlight for me is Satie’s Gymnopedie No.1 – a timeless classic, and a precursor to the modern day ambient genre.

A pleasing range of music and a fair level of competence required for intermediate player.

Fantastic collection of pieces. I thoroughly enjoyed this collection. I thought it might be a little boring and run-of-the-mill, but the pieces are very beautiful and from diverse composers (Bach to Sakamoto). I highly recommend it!

Proved not very interesting for a very old pianist (me) but was snapped up with enthusiasm by a younger one (my daughter).

Very good selection of music, and a variety of playing standards. I found several I would like to play in this selection, also the Platignum book is good

I bought this mainly for the Moonlight Sonata but was pleased with the other songs in the book, particularly It's Time to Say Goodbye, which is lovely to play. Some of the names of the songs were unfamiliar to me but upon playing them, I found I recognised them. Good addition to my collection.

This is a great, varied mixture of pieces, some harder than others but nice to play.

The book has some great arrangements of famous tunes, BUT my 9 year old daughter, who begged me to buy the book for her, was disappointed when it arrived. The reason? Although rated as "intermediate", most of the tunes are far more difficult than that, some of them even stretching me (post-grade 8) so there are only about 4 tunes which she will be able to learn any time soon.

I thought this book was excellent. The pieces range in difficulty, style and length so there is something for everyone!I would recommend this book to all pianists that enjoy just sitting down and playing a lovely tune!I find something new and exciting in every piece!

Bought this book for my 9 year old who took grade 3 piano a few months ago. Really impressed with the arrangements which are fun, and just complicated enough to stretch her, but not so hard they put her off. And she gets to know some of the real jazz classics too.
