Where this phrase is repeated, it’s shown in the music. The full lyrics appear against a constant, rhythmic slash, making reading and following easier than ever.

This is a different approach to playing rhythm guitar and accompanying your favourite songs. I found it to be very useful but a bit confusing at first. In my experience, the best way to use this book is to, first, listen to the recording of the original song you want to play and listen to it over and over until you 'know' the song, especially the rhythm sections. That way you know the sounds you want to produce, then use the book. It is a pity that there is no CD with this book, you have to go to other sources to find the recordings. It takes some getting used to the way the book is written, but overall, it works for me.
