While I was very happy to at last be able to get a complete set of these fantastic piano works to play, I was a little disappointed at the print quality which is decidedly dodgy on some pages.

A wonderful set of 12 short piano pieces (64 pages of music) reflecting the flavour of different regions of Spain but housed in a romantic framework (written in the 1890s). The most famous, Andaluza and Oriental, may be familiar, possibly heard on guitar, but the rest warrant an outing too, and offer a reasonable challenge to the more competent pianist. The edition doesn't include fingering and the print quality isn't brilliant, but then it wasn't that expensive.
