Richard Addinsell: Learn To Loosen (The Music's Message): Chant et Piano

Learn To Loosen (The Music’s Message) was first created in 1954 as part of a musical revue entitled Joyce Grenfell Requests The Pleasure. The music was written by the British composer RichardAddinsell (1904-1977), who collaborated with Grenfell on many of her revue items, as well as writing several scores for film and theatre. His most famous work is undoubtedly his Warsaw Concerto for Piano andOrchestra, which formed a memorable part of the soundtrack to the 1941 film Dangerous Moonlight.

Joyce Grenfell (1910-1979) was a British actress, comedian and entertainer. She is best remembered forherroles in the original St Trinian’s films, but also appeared in countless stage shows and revues.
