An anthology of 26 pieces among the most appreciated and performed ones from the repertoire of Angelo Gilardino, in order to celebrate the eightieth birthday of a prominent figure in the world of classical guitar. With three original compositions for solo guitar, written on this occasion by Carlo Boccadoro, Fabio Massimo Capogrosso, and Alessandro Solbiati. An essay by Kevin Swierkosz-Lenart, musician and psychiatrist, introduces this anthology: it explores, through the analysis of a dream told by Gilardino himself, the cultured symbolism of his inner world, his evocative timbral poetics, his innovative and meditated aesthetic choices.
