Franz Schubert: Mass In G: (Arr. Alice Parker): Chœur Mixte et Accomp.

This Mass, composed in 1815 but not published until 1846, has great depth whilst also being lyrical and climactic. It was originally set for Soprano, Tenor and Bass Soli, SATB Chorus, Strings and Organ (some years later Schubert added parts for Trumpets and Timpani); however, this Schirmer edition of the vocal score contains a piano reduction by Alice Parker.
