The well known song Send In The Clowns from the 1973 musical ‘A Little Night Music’ is now arranged for SSA Voices with Piano accompaniment.

The musical, composed by Stephen Sondheim, is anadaptation of Ingmar Bergman's film ‘Smiles of a Summer Night’ and tells the romantic stories of many couples, with a main focus on the actress Desirée and the lawyer Fredrik. In the ballad, Send In The ClownsDesirée reflects on the ironies and disappointments of her life, after Fredrik’s initial rejection. The song is later reprised as a coda after Fredrik's young wife runs away and he is finally free to acceptDesirée'soffer.
